From Falmouth we made our way to Penzance, and then took a taxi into Prussia Cove. This is the part of the trip where we rented a house in Cornwall with friends for the week. Cornwall is the southwestern most tip of England, and it's all farmland and beaches and small little villages. The house we stayed in was pretty much a 5 minute walk from the sea.
This was our house for the week in Porth en Alls in Prussia Cove.

Marci painted this while working for the show in Leeds. It's just down the road from our house.

During low tide we went down to the beach to collect drift wood for the fire.

Our house was next to this little bakery that made the best of everything. We had croissants with homemade strawberry jam every morning.

The Falmouth Packet Inn.

We took the Double Decker bus to Tesco to buy groceries for Thanksgiving. On the way back our bus stopped off at a school and we rode with it as it dropped off school children. It was pretty rad.

Risotto night.

We spent most of our time drawing and working on small projects. And staying warm.

How an Irishman eats his egg.

Thanksgiving with friends.

We are the Americans.

Starting the fire place.

Simon's drawing of our living room.

Hike to Praa Sands. It was wet and daunting.

Praa Sands is a surf spot. "Some of the best surfing in the world is in Cornwall", said the dude in Falmouth.

Day trip to St. Ives. It was very Studio Ghibli-esque: scenic cove, clear bluish-green water, dramatic wind and waves, and a small village huddled along the coast.

Killer wind.

The view from the Tate in St. Ives. They had an awesome show, and very nice cafe and book store.

Low tide in St. Ives.

Sky Bros.

More epic walks and shit.

Lady Times. I wore my headphones and drew in the corner while they watched the new Jane Eyre on my laptop.

Night Fire. Walking in the dark to the Falmouth Packet Inn. You can see all the stars.

Day trip to Marazion.

St. Michael's Mount an island you can walk to during low tide.

We collected a bunch of rocks and shells on the way there.

Cornwall is pretty crazy cause of all the sub-tropical plants that got brought back from sailors and pirates.

This is in Penzance by the way.

i LOVE cornwall. love it. your house looks fab.
when you were in st ives did you have any of the amazing fudge? if not you have to get your friends from there to send you some.
I didn't get any fudge. Most of the shops in St. Ives were closed cause it was the off season. I did however get a really nice brownie with vanilla ice cream at the Tate.
I have one more sad little post to go. It's for the 1/2 day in London.
